Description
No trades, sale only!
Selling a Gustard R26 DAC in perfect condition.
The device is fully functional and works without any issues. It has been used with care in a home environment.
Complete package:
* original box;
* power cable;
* USB cable;
* card (documentation);
* factory configuration.
The Gustard R26 is a high-end R2R DAC featuring a discrete resistor ladder, support for NOS/OS modes, balanced XLR outputs, a LAN streamer, and excellent detail retrieval combined with a natural, musical presentation.
Unlike standard DACs that use off-the-shelf delta-sigma chips, this unit converts digital information via a resistor ladder—known as an R2R array. This consists of a network of ultra-precise resistors used to generate the analog signal.
This conversion method delivers a natural, authentic sound, free from any synthetic artifacts. The soundstage is expansive, with great depth and high levels of detail across the entire frequency spectrum. The bass is particularly noteworthy—rich, deep, and well-defined.
Reason for selling: upgrading to a different DAC.
