AudioAbsolute (audioabsolute.md) is a classifieds platform for audio equipment with different purposes and segments, including mainstream, Hi-Fi, High-End and professional studio equipment. These Terms govern use of the platform, listings and communication. Contact: info@audioabsolute.md.
1. The platform and transactions between users
The site lets users publish and search listings, view profiles, save favourites, exchange messages and photographs, receive notifications and submit reports. AudioAbsolute provides information and communication functions. The operator is not the seller, buyer, payment intermediary, delivery service or guarantor of a transaction between users.
The parties agree directly on price, inspection, payment, handover, delivery, returns and warranty. Publication and moderation do not certify authenticity, working condition or a seller's trustworthiness. An email-verification indicator confirms only access to the email address.
2. Scope, equipment purpose and segments
On this site, professional equipment means studio equipment for recording, mixing, mastering and audio monitoring: studio monitors, audio interfaces, microphones, preamplifiers and processors. Stage and concert equipment, PA systems and installed sound systems are outside the scope of the platform. Classify the model by its intended purpose, not where it happens to be used.
Audio equipment for playback, recording and sound processing is permitted: speakers, amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, network and portable players, streamers, CD/SACD players, turntables, phono stages, headphones, studio microphones and monitors, studio mixers, audio interfaces and other equipment for home audio, portable audio or studio work. Mainstream home, computer and multimedia audio components, including inexpensive and USB speakers, are permitted. Components, cables, stands, furniture, power supplies, audio accessories and music media belong in the relevant categories.
New, used and vintage equipment may be listed regardless of price, brand or declared segment. Equipment for home audio, portable audio and studio work is permitted, including budget models. Relevance is determined by the intended purpose of the particular model; using a stage system at home does not make it home or studio equipment.
Purpose and segment describe the particular listing, not every product of a brand. Purpose describes home, portable and personal, or studio use. The segment — mainstream, Hi-Fi or High-End — helps users navigate the catalogue. These are independent characteristics; studio equipment may have no specified segment. If information is insufficient, leave the field unclassified instead of guessing. Missing classification does not itself prevent publication.
The listing author supplies the classification; administrators may correct it during moderation. A segment label is not a quality certificate, expert assessment or guarantee of specifications, authenticity or value, and does not replace the buyer's inspection.
Filters and saved preferences determine which listings a visitor sees in the catalogue, search and selections that use these settings. They do not restrict publishing equipment with another permitted purpose or segment; thematic restrictions apply regardless of filters. Explicit filters may change results independently of preferences. Filter changes are not saved to an account automatically; saving requires a separate action. Resetting search restores the initial results with account preferences, while “Show all segments” temporarily removes purpose and segment restrictions. These preferences do not block direct listing links or favourites.
Not permitted:
- Video equipment: televisions, projectors, video cameras, video players, and devices or accessories whose main purpose is video playback or processing.
- Stage and concert sound equipment, PA systems, stage monitors, line arrays and equipment for sound reinforcement in venues and at events.
- Car audio, musical instruments, stage lighting and unrelated goods.
Moderation checks relevance to the platform, accuracy and compliance with these Terms. It does not impose a minimum price or equipment tier. Administrators may request clarification, correct classification or reject a listing that breaks the rules, explaining the reason. Contact us by email with publication questions.
3. Registration and accounts
Standard registration requires a username, email and password; a phone number is optional. Some actions require a verified email. Additional details can be supplied in profiles and listings. Provide accurate information, keep contact details current and do not impersonate another person or an administrator.
Protect login details and review active sessions. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and notify the operator. Fake accounts for manipulation, spam or bypassing restrictions are prohibited. Users are responsible for their actions and rule violations within the limits of applicable law.
The site is not directed at children. Independently accepting these Terms and entering into transactions requires the necessary legal capacity under applicable law. Where a legal representative is required, the statutory rules apply.
At registration, users separately confirm acceptance of these Terms and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. These confirmations do not mean consent to advertising emails or optional analytics.
Signing in with Google
The welcome bonus is 1000 notes per account after email verification or registration through Google with a verified address. Google registration does not require a separate email verification code. The bonus is awarded once: signing in again or linking Google does not award a second bonus. If an older Google account has not received the bonus yet, it will be credited on the next successful Google sign-in. The balance and transaction history are available in the Notes section.
You may choose registration and sign-in through Google instead of standard password registration. These Terms apply regardless of your sign-in method; when creating an account, you must accept them and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Choosing this method does not constitute consent to advertising or optional analytics. You enter your Google password only with the relevant provider; it is not sent to AudioAbsolute.
Your provider account identifier is used to link it to your AudioAbsolute account. An email match does not automatically link an existing account: that account's AudioAbsolute password is required. Provider sign-in also depends on the availability of the provider's service and the permissions granted; this method does not override restrictions applied to your site account.
For a new account, the site may create a valid, unique username from the provider's name and save an available photograph as an avatar. If the name cannot be used, a technical username is generated. The username and avatar may be displayed publicly; the username may reveal your real name. Review them after registration: you can change the username and photograph or remove the photograph in settings. Linking and subsequent sign-ins do not automatically replace an existing user's username or avatar; later changes at the provider are not automatically synchronised.
4. Listing requirements
- Describe the particular model’s purpose and segment honestly using known information. Do not inflate its segment to appear in other users’ filters. Complete, accurate descriptions help search and selection but do not guarantee views, time to sale or ranking.
- Post only genuine offers you are entitled to make, in an appropriate category. Give the correct brand, model, condition, price and currency. State negotiation or exchange terms clearly.
- Disclose known faults, material defects, repairs, replacement components, modifications, included items and restrictions on use. For imported equipment, state a different supply voltage and any need for a converter, where applicable.
- Photographs and descriptions must represent the item offered. Label manufacturer images as illustrations; do not present them as photographs of your own item.
- Do not describe goods as original, new or under warranty without justification. Do not conceal the origin of handmade or modified equipment or misuse another brand to mislead buyers.
- Do not create duplicates or fill descriptions with unrelated brands, links or advertising. Unpublish listings once sold or no longer current. Publication periods and available actions are shown in the interface.
Professional sellers must not present themselves as private sellers. Disclose your status and legally required information. Before a transaction, give the buyer seller and contact details, the full price and mandatory additional costs, payment and delivery terms, and applicable return and warranty rules. Each user is responsible for applicable tax, trading and consumer obligations.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
Illegal or stolen goods, counterfeits, fraudulent offers, knowingly false information, threats, harassment, spam, malicious links or files, unlawfully shared personal data and material infringing third-party rights are prohibited. Do not bypass restrictions, access other accounts, overload the site, harvest contacts or copy the listings database without permission. Ordinary search-engine indexing is permitted within the site's technical access rules.
6. Profiles, contacts and communication
Profiles and published listings may be public. A contact phone number is displayed when that contact method is enabled in a listing. Details you place in descriptions or photographs also become public. Do not publish documents, passwords, verification codes or payment secrets.
Spam, pressure, fraud and insults are prohibited in conversations. Use blocking and reporting tools when violations occur. Authorised administrative access to conversations for reports, security and legal compliance is described in the Privacy Policy.
Favourites and reactions are not orders, reservations or transaction confirmations. Feedback about the site is not a rating of a seller or their equipment. Artificial manipulation of metrics is prohibited.
Community and audio profiles
Community is the site's public forum. Topics, replies, quotes, photographs, reactions and author information are visible within the availability of their section and post. Publishing requires an active account with a verified email address. Site rules cover discussions, including those about listings, and audio-profile materials. Choose the appropriate section, respect other participants, distinguish impressions from verifiable facts and disclose any commercial interest in a recommendation.
Do not publish other people's personal data, conversations or photographs without a lawful basis, copyright-infringing material, threats, harassment, spam or undisclosed advertising. A participant's opinion or reaction is not a product inspection, quality guarantee or administrative endorsement. Discussing a listing does not reserve the item or make the site a party to the transaction.
Additional profile details and audio systems are optional. New fields and systems can be visible to their owner only, site members or everyone. Photographs and components inherit the system's visibility. These settings do not make previously published forum posts, listings or basic public profile information private.
7. Moderation and appeals
Administrators may request clarification, return a listing for correction, hide or delete violating material, restrict publication or communication, temporarily block or permanently delete an account for serious or repeated violations. Measures take account of the nature of the violation, user risk and repetition. Security threats or illegal content may require action without prior notice.
Report a listing, message or user through the available tools or by email. Include a link or listing number, a description of the violation and relevant information. Reports are reviewed by administrators and do not automatically establish a violation.
To request review of a decision, email info@audioabsolute.md with your account, listing and reasons for disagreeing. Administrators review the circumstances and communicate the outcome through an available channel. Moderation does not replace contacting the competent authorities.
In Community, administrators may hide posts and topics, close discussions, move topics and restrict participation for rule violations. Authors can edit within the constraints of the topic's and post's status; authorised moderators can access revision history. A report submitted beneath a post goes to the administration and is not published in the discussion. To report content or request a review, provide the topic or post link, the issue and relevant information; you may email info@audioabsolute.md. Automatic rate limits prevent abuse and do not by themselves establish a rule violation.
8. Transaction safety and responsibility
Before paying, check the seller's identity and authority, the equipment's condition and included items, and delivery and return terms. Inspect and audition it where possible. Do not share banking codes or login details, or trust links claiming to provide a mandatory “AudioAbsolute secure transaction”. The site does not accept payment for users' goods or provide escrow.
Disputes about goods and performance of a transaction are resolved between its parties under applicable law. These Terms do not remove mandatory buyer rights or professional-seller obligations where they apply. Different return and consumer-protection rules may apply to transactions between private individuals and purchases from professional sellers. Posting a listing does not create a universal right to return any item; mandatory safeguards depend on the parties' status, the circumstances and the law.
9. Rights to material
Publish only material you are entitled to use. Authors retain their rights and grant the operator non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, technically process, create thumbnails and display material to the extent needed to operate the site and listing. This does not transfer ownership or permit independent sale of photographs to third parties.
After withdrawal, public display on the website stops; external posts are removed under the procedure below. Technical copies and report material are retained only for the purposes and periods described in the Privacy Policy. Rights to software, design and site material belong to their respective owners.
This permission also covers forum topics, replies, quotes and photographs and audio-profile materials, solely for storage, display according to the selected visibility, technical processing and moderation on the site. Quote only the necessary amount and credit the source where required. Deleting an account does not automatically withdraw every forum publication; retention and deletion requests are explained below.
Listings on external platforms
To reach prospective buyers, AudioAbsolute may publish public listings or shortened versions on the official AudioAbsolute Facebook Page (Meta). A post may include the title, price, currency or pricing terms, city, photos or a preview, and a link to the listing. Text may be presented in Romanian using available translations. Republication does not guarantee reach, a sale or inclusion in Facebook Marketplace; Marketplace is a separate service.
Where this version of the Terms applies to your materials and you have authority to grant the relevant rights, permission to use public listings also covers their reproduction and public display on that Page, shortened versions, translation and technical adaptation of text and images to promote the relevant listing. This permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free; it does not transfer copyright, permit separate sales of photographs or extend to private messages, non-public profile data or forum materials. Materials are provided to the external service operator to the extent necessary to publish and display the post. Do not upload materials for which you lack the necessary rights.
A listing being public or publication of these Terms does not replace the necessary rights or a lawful basis for processing personal data. These provisions do not retrospectively grant permission for previously submitted materials; an applicable earlier permission or another appropriate basis is needed. Acceptance of the Terms is not blanket consent to any advertising activity.
When the integration is operating, the current published title, price and city may be automatically updated in the text of the existing post. Changes awaiting approval are not sent; changes that the site's rules allow to take effect immediately, including certain price changes, are reflected after they take effect. The full description, photos and link preview are not synchronized by this operation. An external post may therefore temporarily differ from the listing; check the current details on the website.
Deleting or archiving a listing queues the associated post recorded by the integration for deletion. A sale, expiry or temporary hiding does not by itself guarantee deletion of the post. Delays and external service errors may occur; administrators can update or delete the post manually. Republishing after deletion requires a separate administrative action and creates a new post. To request correction or deletion, or to object to external publication, email info@audioabsolute.md with the listing and, if possible, the post URL. External service limitations do not remove the operator's duty to address the request. See the Privacy Policy and data deletion procedure.
10. Account deletion and deactivation
Deactivation temporarily disables an account and is not data deletion. A deletion request through settings includes a 30-day recovery period, followed by final deletion. Administrative final deletion does not provide that recovery period.
Profiles, contacts, listings and their photographs, favourites and related settings are removed. Conversations and attachments may remain with other participants under the label “Deleted user”; message content is not automatically anonymised. Reports and certain technical records are retained as described in the Privacy Policy. Requests to erase particular personal data can be sent separately by email; the 30-day account recovery period does not override the legal deadlines for handling such requests.
Community: after an account is permanently deleted, topics, posts and their attached photographs may remain in discussions without a link to the former account. The user's reactions and subscriptions are deleted; the extended audio profile, systems and their photographs are deleted separately from forum publications. Text, quotes and photographs may still contain personal information. To request removal of such information or a specific publication, email info@audioabsolute.md with its links; requests are assessed under the law and the rights of other participants.
Revoking AudioAbsolute access in Google settings does not, by itself, delete your site account, previously saved data or an active session. Deleting your AudioAbsolute account does not delete your provider account. Deletion through settings requires an AudioAbsolute password; if you registered through a provider and have not set one, use password recovery through your account email or submit a request without signing in. The steps, email request option and information about retained data are provided in the user data deletion instructions and the Privacy Policy.
11. Personal data and cookies
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and cookies in the Cookie Policy. Reading these documents and accepting the Terms does not replace separate consent where required. Optional-cookie settings are available in the consent interface.
12. Site operation and project support
Maintenance, updates and repairs may cause interruptions. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every function and is not responsible for other users' promises, but remains responsible for its own obligations under law. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
Voluntary support is not payment for listed goods, a transaction guarantee or exemption from moderation. If paid features are introduced, their price and terms will be provided separately before an order.
13. Changes and applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, preserving mandatory safeguards under applicable law. Updated versions are published with a date and apply to subsequent use; they do not retroactively alter transactions already concluded between users. Material changes are announced on the site; separate consent is requested where required by law.
For questions or disputes with the operator, contact info@audioabsolute.md. The right to approach courts and competent authorities remains. Invalidity of one provision does not invalidate the others.
